We had an Easter egg hunt on the Saturday before Easter at the Kotter's. It was a little chilly, but not raining! Spring has been slow to come.
I love this picture of Kennedy and Lucas. They are so excited to begin the hunt, and are listening intently as Lori gives the instructions. They get a 1-minute headstart before all the rest go.
Three of us hid the eggs. Some were easy to find - others more hidden.
There were a lot of eggs, filled with candy, and plenty for everyone. It was fun to watch them fill their baskets or bags. The thrill is not just inside the egg - but in the hunt itself! Lots of fun.
The Kotter's have a big yard and they were spread out everywhere searching for eggs. It was serious business. There were a few "golden" eggs hidden that had something extra in them - money! Most thought they all had a $1. However, Savanna was the lucky one that found the real winner - a $5 bill!
